Instructor: Pete Han
Pete Han is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Wander Braga. As Professor Braga's first American Black Belt, Pete has represented Team Braga as both competitor and coach since 2001. A lifelong martial artist, who has trained in tae-kwon do, karate, boxing, and Muay Thai, Pete is comfortable in all aspects of grappling and combat. In addition to his martial arts experience, Pete has served in the United States Air Force as a member of the Security Forces.
Mafu Kobus has trained in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Wander Braga since 1999. Currently ranked as a Third Degree Black Belt, he has taught and coached Jiu Jitsu for Self Defense, Sport, Fitness and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) since 2004. He has dedicated his life to the art of jiu jitsu, even while obtaining his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from UCLA. To add to his jiu jitsu achievements, Mafu is the current Director of Commissions for Rickson Gracie's Jiu Jitsu Global Federation (JJGF) and is a former Senior Contributor for BJJ Legends Magazine.
